Visual Arts and Design This semester I chose to design and brand a cafe called 'Find'. My aim was to create a space accompanied by branding that expresses the beauty of Mother Nature. 'Find' is situated inside a transparent/ mirror cuboid. When looking at 'Find' from the outside it will appear almost invisible as all that can be seen is a reflection of the outdoors. When inside, it will appear you are in a glass box, you will be able to see every element of the surroundings. I believe as New Zealanders we should spend more time outdoors, today's society consists of so much technology that draws us away from Mother Nature. Being a graphic designer gives me many opportunities to change the world through design, to make a difference whether it be big or small.
